I was very pleased to attend the Dural and Castle Hill McDonald’s Restaurants for McHappy Day this year. I was joined by The Hills Shire Councillors, Deputy Mayor Mitchell Blue, Councillors Reena Jethi, Frank De Masi, and Jessica Brazier.
The nice work Ronald McDonald House Charities does in the wider community to help our youngsters can by no means be underestimated. When a toddler is identified with a serious illness, it impacts the entire family.
Ronald McDonald House Charities present a range of programs to assist families stay together and near the care they want. I commend the efforts and work of the Ronald McDonald House Charites and all those that present care for children and their households in difficult situations.

It was nice to see so many enthusiastic Hills Shire residents having fun with the day and supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). For each Big Mac sold on Saturday 18th November, $2 was donated to the charities.
It was fantastic to see the help from the community for this trigger and I would like to particularly thank Deputy Mayor Mitchell Blue, Councillors Reena Jethi, Frank De Masi, and Jessica Brazier for giving up their time on McHappy Day to assist Ronald McDonald House Charities.
